Technology Test Solutions Ltd ("Technology Test Solutions", "the Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates CompareCityCosts.com. CompareCityCosts.com is the trading name used by Technology Test Solutions Ltd to provide cost-of-living intelligence, subscription access, and related services through the website and supporting applications.
These Terms & Conditions of Use govern your access to and use of the Platform. Please read them carefully before you create an account, purchase a subscription, or otherwise interact with the Platform. Accessing or using the Platform means you agree to these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised Terms on the Platform, update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and notify you (for example, by email or a banner on the Platform) if the change materially affects your rights or obligations.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
The Platform delivers cost-of-living data, comparison tools, and editorial insight that help users understand how living expenses differ between cities. Feature access is layered, offering free guidance plus subscription tiers that unlock interactive dashboards, downloadable reports, and ongoing updates.
Analyses rely on curated public data, cost indices, inflation indicators, and modelled estimates. Figures are approximate, directional, and subject to change. They should be verified with local sources before making relocation, compensation, or financial decisions.
Some Platform areas require user registration. When you open an account, you must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and notify us of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
Subscription plans are billed in advance for the selected term. Renewal occurs automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date. Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current paid term and are not eligible for partial refunds except as required by law.
You may manage subscription preferences through the Platform settings. If you upgrade or downgrade between plans, we will prorate fees on a fair and reasonable basis.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day after they purchase a subscription. If you cancel during that period without having started premium digital access, you will receive a full refund. If you choose to start premium access immediately (for example by using unlocked dashboards or downloadable reports), you acknowledge that you waive the cooling-off right and agree that the Company may begin performance straight away. Refunds after the cooling-off period are only given where the law requires or if we agree there is a material issue with the Platform that we cannot reasonably fix. Refunds are not available for partial periods where the Platform was available and you used the paid features, except as necessary to comply with law.
All payments are processed by Stripe on Technology Test Solutions Ltd's behalf. By entering payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy notice. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
If a payment cannot be processed, we may suspend or cancel your access until a valid payment method is provided.
We aim to keep CompareCityCosts.com available, but the Platform may suffer downtime for scheduled maintenance, updates, or unexpected outages. We try to perform maintenance outside peak hours and to publish notices in advance when possible.
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation, and we are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability, provided that we act reasonably to restore service.
All Platform content, including software, design, reports, text, and graphics, is owned by Technology Test Solutions Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The Platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for personal and internal business use only.

Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breaches of these Terms, non-payment, or other conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the Platform, its users, or Technology Test Solutions Ltd. You may also close your account at any time via the Platform interface or by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
